Healthy Ways To Get Your Pumpkin Fix

With the changing of seasons comes new flavors, new cravings, and new seasonal drinks! I think I speak on behalf of most when I say that pumpkin has become one of the most anticipated flavor the the year. With it’s rise in popularity, we have seen this gourd make it’s way into coffees, desserts, and even savory foods we love. There is no autumn without pumpkin spice – thats for certain! For those of us who are trying to be conservative with our sweet treats, there are options (and really delicious ones at that) for indulging without so much of the guilt that may come with it. Here are a few ways to get your pumpkin fix, in a more balanced and healthy way. 

GREEK YOGURT- Did you know that there is pumpkin spice flavored greek yogurt? This is an ideal breakfast to wake up with on a breezy autumn day. With the protein and benefits of a greek yogurt or parfait, you can satisfy that craving for something sweet and spiced. 

PROTEIN BARS – The warm blend of spices that come with a PSL are unmatched. Or are they? Nutrient dense protein bars are a great way to get the flavor without the sugars and empty calories of a seasonal beverage.
