Socially Distant Vacation Ideas

Finding creative ways to have a family vacation while still being careful during this pandemic climate can be a thin line – but it is definitely do-able! Vacations may not look exactly the same as they used to, but the joy, relaxation, and memories don’t have to change at all! Here are some socially distant vacation ideas that you and your family are sure to love in 2021:

  1. Rent a home within your state. Having a place that is still your own, without a bunch of other people in and out, is a getaway without any stress! Staycations, as they are called, can be a great way to feel like you are far away from home but at the same time can still give you lots of peace of mind.
  2. Visit National Parks. This is a favorite no matter what the climate is, but National Parks are especially great right about now. Having a place to explore that is close to home but gets you out in nature, sunshine, and fresh air will have you feeling adventurous and rejuvenated.
  3. Choose Lesser Known Destinations and Not The Regular Tourist Spots. Taking the time to research small towns and hidden gems can keep you out of the hustle and bustle of big cities and tourist crowded areas. Plus, these spots often have so much character that you will love every minute of it.
  4. Rent a camper or RV. The best part of traveling in an RV is that you won’t even need to stop and use public restrooms, hotels, etc! Everything is at your fingertips and subject to your own sanitation and cleanliness.

Being conscious of the time we live in doesn’t mean you cannot live and explore and love life like we did pre-2020. In fact, finding new ways to travel together is a whole new adventure. Where are you headed this year?
